General Internal Medicine

We provide comprehensive care for general internal medicine issues, such as colds, fever, gastrointestinal disorders, asthma, allergies, diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.

We handle sudden illnesses in children, such as fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, cough, runny nose, asthma attacks, atopic dermatitis, hives, and various vaccinations.

Dermatology

We address a wide range of skin issues, including hives, rashes, itching, bug bites, blisters, eczema, atopic dermatitis, dry skin, warts, and athlete’s foot.

Prescription and delivery of medications

If the results of a medical examination indicate that medication or other necessary medication is required, we will prescribe the necessary medications according to the doctor's instructions.

Medications will be delivered within 2 hours from the pharmacy.

Medical Certificates Offered

We issue medical certificates required for sick leave, business trips, life insurance, and more. We also provide certificates in English.

We are in cooperation with many other medical facilities in Okinawa. If required, referral letters can be issued.

Dive Medicals

Before participating in a diving course, a Medical History Certificate is required to determine if it is safe to dive. Our clinic can issue the necessary medical certificate for diving.

  • The clinic has a physician in charge who is qualified to perform diving medicine. We are able to issue the necessary medical certificates and other medical reports for diving.

  • The cost is $200 for an appointment at the KIN Oncology wellness clinic.

  • The cost is $500 for a visit to your accommodation or hotel to issue a medical certificate.

  • The underwater environment places unique physiological stresses on the body, stresses that may be exacerbated if the diver has certain pre-existing medical conditions. For this reason, the necessary medical certificates must be submitted prior to taking a diving course.
